Mesa, AZ Pet Sitter Provides 3 Easy Steps to Preparing for Your Pet Sitter

It can be stressful when preparing for an out of town trip.  There are loose ends at work that need to be wrapped up, bags need to be packed, clothes need to be washed and the house needs to be readied for your pet sitter.

As a pet sitter in Mesa, AZ I make it pretty easy for my clients when they are getting ready for an out of town trip.  I provide a checklist of things pet parents should do to get their home ready for their pet sitter.  Below is a suggested list of home preparations for your extended stay away from home:

  1. Keep it Comfortable - Set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature for your animals. It may seem cute to coordinate the temp with the weather at your tropical vacation destination, trust us, that's fun for no one.
  2. Prep for Plants - If your sitter will be watering your plants while you're gone, do her a favor and set out a watering can, spray bottle or that beat-up plastic cup you still have from your college bar - whatever you want her to use to water your plants, so she doesn't have to search for something and wonder if she's using the "wrong" thing.
  3. Pet Proof - Pet-proof your home by closing the doors to any rooms you don't want your pet to wander into. Don't forget to move harmful or delicate objects to safer places, and, if you want to really be sweet, leave out an article of clothing for your pet to cuddle with in your absence.
So that's it!  Keeping it simple for our jet setters, vacationers and business executives. Give us a call today for your no obligation consultation.  480-292-9735 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting            480-292-9735      end_of_the_skype_highlighting
